PLAYING WITH THE SPACES

IT IS A NURSERY OF 1000 M2 DIVIDED INTO 10 CUSTOMIZED CLASSROOMS DIVIDED BY AGE, TWO INNER COURTYARDS, A FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND A DINING ROOM FOR 100 CHILDREN. IT ALSO HAS SOME OFFICES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PURPOSES. THE LIGHT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE STRONGEST POINTS OF THIS BUILDING, AS EVERY ROOM IN THE BUILDING HAS BRIGHTNESS AND ACCESS TO THE COURTYARDS. ACTUALLY, THE INNER COURTYARDS CAN BE EXTENDED OUTWARDS, WHICH MEANS THAT THE CLASSES CAN ALSO BE TAKEN OUTDOORS.

The building occupies the plot. The courtyards generate the distribution of the built spaces. They also create the brightness and the ventilation of the inner premises, avoiding the need to open these spaces to the road.

The main objective of the building is to have bright inner spaces, ventilated and with a garden, keeping the privacy and assuring the security of the children at the same time.
